Concept
Manhattan Beach Studios (MBS) wanted a mural to cover their concierge services building in the style of Manhattan Beach Lifeguard Stations. They also wanted to incorporate surfboards and beach cruisers into the design.
I liked melding the boards and bike into the waves. In retrospect, the client may not have liked implying the tide could wash people’s sports equipment away.
